The Acri.LISA lens offers excellent distant and near vision. The design allows for some intermediate vision too and minimises risk of halos and glare.
The lens provides good all round vision irrespective of pupil size. Recent studies as well as Mr Aggarwal's patient's experiences have shown that recipients are genuinely delighted with their vision and this includes driving at night.
Acri.LISA offers an ultimate optical concept, which is made feasible with a specific manufacturing technology. Acri.LISA is perfectly suitable for all patients who wish to live a glasses-free life, regardless of their age and type of visual defect. Refractive-diffractive surface
The phase zones of the optic (refractive-diffractive surface profile) extend over the entire lens surface. This optic does not feature any steps, typically interfering light phenomena such as reflexes, scattered light and halos will be reduced significantly.

The Optic is designed to correct aberrations resulting in clearer all round vision.
The flexibility of the material used, means the lens can be introduced via a 1.5mm incision compared to 2.3mm - 3mm of other lenses.
The curved transition between zones results in good intermediate vision without the light disturbances associated with some multifocals
The lens is also available for people with astigmatism ( AcriToric) and a specially designed lens called Acri.Vitalis is available for people who still wear spectacles following previous cataract surgery and who wish to be spectacle free.
