Professor Aggarwal developed his interest in cataract and refractive surgery after completing Fellowships at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and the Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. There he worked with some of the most respected and experienced surgeons across the globe, learning and developing techniques that are truly leading edge.

Rajesh qualified as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in 1997 where he attained a post as part of the Ophthalmic team at Southend Hospital in Essex. He was made Head of Department at this NHS hospital and awarded a Professorship.

Rajesh was one of the first surgeons in the UK to use laser technology for vision correction and latterly for cataract surgery. He travels far and wide to both take part in as well as teach new surgical skills, ensuring his own skillset remains leading edge
